As some of you already know, Charleston, SC holds a special place in my heart. I was born a southerner but raised a northerner. Every year, my family and I have been going back to Charleston and, more specifically, Kiawah Island, for vacation. It has always been a dream of mine to shoot down in the south as well as have my business up here in New England. I finally decided it was now or never to try to book some weddings in the Charleston area. I started making plans and dreams and had hopes of building a business down there, but it is not as easy as it may seem living from afar. Amanda & John found me and decided to hire me to shoot their wedding at The Mills House, right in downtown Charleston! I was so excited. The Mills House is the perfect setting for a classic Charleston wedding. Recently renovated on the inside, but the charm of Charleston shines bright on the outside. The location is also perfect as it sits right near King Street, Queen Street & Chalmers Street. They have a gorgeous outdoor/indoor garden where Amanda & John’s ceremony took place. The pink facade is the perfect color and makes for great photos!
Unfortunately, their wedding day was abnormally cold for this time of year but we pressed on and I am happy to say they were great sports! Thank you Amanda & John for helping me start my dream of shooting in the south. I will be forever grateful to you. You guys are so genuine and I am excited to see what the future holds for you!
Beautiful and awesome pictures!!!
