Alex and Wan Ju Wei have a simple yet kind and gentle love. I adore this kind of love and it makes me simply smile and relish in the moment. They are set to be married this fall in Taiwan, but they wanted some engagement photos here in the states.

Below, don’t miss their beautiful Maine Coon cat, Coffee. When they asked if it would be OK to bring Coffee to the shoot, they clearly didn’t know who they were talking to…OF COURSE it was OK with me. We all know that I’m a crazy cat lady!

Styled Wedding Shoot | “The Great Gatsby”

This past weekend, I was fortunate enough to be a large part of a beautiful styled wedding shoot, inspired by “The Great Gatsby,” at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. Emily Alfano of mStarr event styling + design was the real visionary behind this gorgeous set up. I was honored when she asked me to be the photographer!

Diane & Keith Engagement | New York City

They grew up in the same town, went to high school together and even dated for two weeks in 7th grade, but it wasn’t until their senior year in high school that their relationship blossomed. Even though they went to different colleges, Diane and Keith never parted ways. Keith would take Diane mid-week dinners, and according to Diane…“He always put up with my craziness.”

Eight years later, on a beautiful Easter Sunday, Diane found her perfect proposal in an easter basket. Diane & Keith literally make my heart skip a beat. Their love for each other is undeniable, but their mutual respect and kindness towards each other is really something to admire.

This past weekend I had the privilege of spending time in NYC with Diane and Keith for their engagement session. The weekend was full of food, drinks, crazy cab drivers and fun! I couldn’t be more excited to shoot their wedding this fall. Diane and Keith, here are a few of my favorites from the day!

Amanda & Nick Engagement | Boston, MA

Amanda says Nick is a composer…”You know, like Beethoven,” she said to me as we were strolling down the beautiful streets of Boston near Berkley College where they met. You could see the pride in her eyes and the love in her heart. Not only did Nick have good looks, but he was a composer and, that, was music to Amanda’s ears.

Although it was pretty chilly, the day was beautiful and the light worked in our favor…Springtime in Boston is absolutely gorgeous! Amanda and Nick are getting married in Boston this coming fall and I am beyond thrilled to be a part of their special day.

I had the opportunity to second shoot a, beautiful, Four Season’s Boston wedding for Kat Hanifin from Kat Hanifin Photography, a wonderfully talented photographer whose work I really admire. Ali and Devon melt my heart. Kind, patient and loving… they complete each other. From the moment I met them, they made me feel like I was home. Meeting people of this caliber is rare and I am beyond grateful to have been a part of their life. I am so happy to have been witnessed to their love.
