Ashley and Devyn chose the most perfect location for their weekday, intimate, destination, wedding…Martha’s Vineyard! Ashley has been vacationing on The Vineyard for many years with her family so it’s a very special place to them. When Kristen from KG Event’s Design reached out to me to see if I was interested in photographing this wedding, I was beyond thrilled, especially once I heard it was a low-key, 30 person wedding. I’ve been dying to work with Kristen, as well as all her talented staff, and a week-day trip to The Vineyard was just a bonus. Just as I imagined, the day was perfect from start to finish. Everything was gorgeous from Ashley’s beautiful headpiece and veil to her florals. Some of my favorite parts of the day were, of course, her bouquet (I just love a beautiful bouquet) by Morrice Florist, her dad’s speech, the long farm table setup at the reception, the laid back vibe of the whole day and, last but definitely not least, the donut table courtesy of Back Door Donuts….a Vineyard favorite!
Ashley and Devyn, I know it’s been a long road to get to this point…cross country living for a long time and a big move for you guys…but I am so happy you made it! I could not have been more honored to be a part of your wedding. It was simply perfect in every way! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you two!
